Assistant Provost of the Extended Campus
The Assistant Provost of the Extended Campus has overall responsibility for
many programs and services. Visit this page for a brief

and its "can do" philosophy, along with an idea of
the size and scope of activities.
Adult/Commuter Student Services
Assists nontraditional students who balance family, work and school responsibilities. Support services include advisement, placement testing, registration, scholarship and financial aid opportunities, adult student orientation, and evening and weekend office hours.
New Office Location for Adult/Commuter Student Services: First Floor of the Jim D. Morris Center for Continuing Education at 301 South Jefferson, Springfield, Missouri. The building is accessible by the shuttle.
Academic Outreach and Distance Learning
The mission of the Academic Outreach and Distance Learning is to work in
cooperation with the academic departments of the University
to plan,
coordinate, facilitate, and provide administrative support services
for academic offerings delivered to persons and organizations
located
off the Springfield campus. Departments include:

EC/Institute for School Improvement Partnership
The Extended Campus/Institute for School Improvement Partnership achieves
its mission of promoting lifelong learning for PK-12 educators by
providing professional growth with quality education.
Center for Continuing and Professional Education
The Center for Continuing and Professional Education offers training for a wide
variety of professionals. CCPE is approved by fifteen state and national accrediting
bodies and professional organizations to provide continuing education.
The Extended Campus Publications and Marketing Office
The mission of The Extended Campus Publications and Marketing office is to support the overall mission of the University in developing educated persons by making public the programs and services offered through the Provost Office and the noncredit and credit divisions of The Extended Campus.
Our main charge:
1) to offer promotional, course delivery and instructional materials to faculty, departments, and colleges who utilize the course delivery systems available through the Extended Campus.
2) to provide marketing and design support for the Office of the Provost and to the noncredit and credit divisions of The Extended Campus.
Registration Services
The Registration Services office enhances the "extended campus" concept
by serving as the primary application, registration and referral source for students
who are interested in credit courses offered through the Extended Campus.
